happy happy new year guys!!!

my new year resolution for 2005: study hard. work hard. lose my flabs. HaHAhaHAha..

a look back.. my year 2004:
jan-may: working and slogging away in g2000 at bugis.
june: chionging Amore!!! ar..i miss those days.. goin back there during my next hols! cant wait! my spare tyre also cannot wait! hahaha..
july: slacking at home, attending camps and all sorta briefings, worrying abt uni life, bidding for modules blah blah blah..
aug-nov: school school school.
dec: hols. slack again. perth trip.

for new year's eve, i was working at the Nation's Countdown 2005.
nokia had this event where their promoters took pictures of party-goers and these photos were developed out and given to them.
and so i was hired by this events company "Ultrex" to help out with this nokia event by stationing at the collection booth with a few others and distributed the photos to the party-goers.

sidetrack: all the members of this company smoked!! what the hell.. i'm an anti-smoking non-smoker. and i was surrounded by them that day. arghs~~~

incidents with drunk or semi-drunk party-goers:
1) 2 ang mohs came up to us saying they wanted to collect their photos but they din have their serial numbers with them... then we told them that they needed their serial numbers in order to collect the photos.. then 1 of them who doesnt look drunk (the other was obviously very drunk) started mumbling something and said he wanted to take their photos here with us coz we were better than the nokia gurls in charge of photo-taking. i almost wanted to laugh ouT!!!
of coz we rejected and said our place was for photo collection and we're not obliged to take photo with any guests. then he started mumbling something and kept pointing over to his drunk friend.. luckily 1 of the nokia promoter came over and said:" warts up dude! u wanna take photo?pls proceed over there for ur photo be taken. our gurls there are very good!" the ang moh argued: "no, i think the gurls here are better!"
i shall not cont..the guy managed to fend them off soon after.. HAHAHA..

2) "give hot mama a kiss". haha. this one i kana myself!! arrrrr!!!!
this persian guy came up and collected his photos with no problems and i wished him happy new year. he then said: " i'm not happy. i'm alone. no gurls with me. u want to spend an hour with me?" i said:" orh no sir i'm working. sorry." he said:" why?!?! how come asian gurls don't like persian men?" i started laughing and told him to get more of his photos taken if he's feeling bored. then he said:" can i have a kiss from u then?" he pouted his lips and lean over.
OH MY GOD!!! *keep cool gurl cool cool* hahaha..
it may sound like the guy's trying to rape me or something but yeah..i kept saying no no no and feigning ignorance. then he tried 1 last time and said: " how abt a lil' small kiss on e cheek hmm?" i wanted to scream!!!! HAHAHAHA..
and luckily again, a bikini-clad gurl came to collect her photo and his attention was diverted. more came and he actually approached 1 and asked her if she had a bf anot..
phew~

3) uncles with tattoos all over their body had their photos collected and complained:" only 1 ar?more lehhh..got so many of us leh..eh xiao jie, can print 1 more for us anot ar?"
"wah, michael! dun keep the photo urself leh u think u yandao ar?!" "eh xiao jie, print duo yi zhang gei wo lah!" "wah seh! we all put in friendster ah steady!" (*LOL! uncles also have friendster??!?!!?) "eh xiao jie, u recog this girl anot ar? can i have her number?" the gurl in the photo was 1 of the photo-taking babes.
to all of the above ques, we all said no no no.
then came the ultimate. " eh xiao jie, take photo with us lah..then u give me ur number." WHAT THE HELL MAN!!! take photo with these smelly f***ing uncles still need to give number? NO WAY. " xiao jie pls lah.. we need to have another photo or else how can we share among ourselves.pls lah come on.."
i had enough for the day and gave fake smiles and ignored them till they were persuaded to leave the booth by one of the guys there who started talking abt nokia phones to them..hahaha..

no shuai ge no hunks. what a boring day. haha.
orh maybe there was. the pair me and ah li spotted jogging ard b4 the event started. nice bods but cannot see the face. haha.
most of the guys at the countdown were either xiao didi or horny uncles and ang mohs.
siiiiiaaaaann..

1 of the nokia gurls came across this BIMBOTIC china gurl who insisted to have her photo taken with her back to the light so that the wind can blow her hair away from her face to make her look sexy. argh.
but she actually got nominated to compete in the beach hunk and babe competition and SHE WON.
yes. such competitions are for BIMBOS.
if u want to see her photo, arrange a meeting with ah li.. we kapok her photo at the end of the day.. hehehe.. its actually meant for kaixiang. we thot he'll like it. mehehehehe..

the countdown itself was so darn boring with the added absence of hunks..
when it was time to countdown i could only hear gurmit singh and michelle chong. 2005 came and the crowd juz gave very pathetic screams of joy. haha.
siigghh..
aiyar also cant blame.
we had to grief for the tsunami disaster victims..
*may they all rest in peace*
i'm thinking of donating my pay out BUT i cant bear to. HOW? maybe part of it lah huh..haha..

good thing i was working on this gloomy new year's eve.













merry belated xmas everybody!
sorry my wishes came so late..i was too tired to blog these few days..

okay!my xmas eve party..

woohoo!~it was awesome man.. awesome food awesome pple awesome house awesome host.
wart more can i say?
hahaha..

everybody brought goooOoood food!
had our fill even b4 the turkey came out..haha
thanks to andy and steph and jack jack for the nice turkey.. thanks for making one hell of a mess in my kitchen too..hahaha..
but of coz andy and jack jack offered cleaning services afterwards under my watchful eye..
mehhehehe..

juz to name a few dishes that we had..
- turkey (warts xmas without that bird?)
- curry
- beehoon and fried rice
- DIY sushi
- mango pudding
- fruit salad
- grilled chicken drumlets and wings
- logcake
- almond longan minus e syrup (i drained the syrup away..sorry guys..i'm a health freak..HAHAHA)

ehhhhhhh then came the exchanging of our xmas gifts..
i got a carpet from ikea!!! its really cute.. and went into the hands of weiqiang..haha..
bless u weiqiang for getting MY GIFT..

there was the usual gift items like wind chime, mug etc..
but poor xiaotian received a GREEN JADE bangle from JACKSON NEO aka Jack Jack!!!
HAHAHAHAA..
green jade bangle..you know..those that are worn by grandmas..yupyup!!! HOHOHO!!!
and lucky justin received a yearful supply of tissues from xiaohui!!! jackjack's side kick cum dahleng!!! what a pair ar!~
and horny ah yam gave ah teck a condom disguised as a figurine!!! woOohOooo!

well me? i received a mickey and minnie mouse mug from weiyang!!! thanks ALOT hor ex xiang gong.. hahahahaa..

then it was xmas day.
my parents' turn to have their party..
my relatives and some of their frens came over for BBQ..
the left over curry and fried rice from my party were put to good use!!!
hahaha.. ShHHhHHhHhh!!!

then it was boxing day..
got my results...
so BAD.. HoObOObOo..
then slept the whole day~~~
haha..

then it was monday which is todae..
made a date with ah li and ah ma to go blading at east coast..
in e end i had to cancel it coz i got hit by fainting spells on my way to visit my dentist..
had to cancel my appt with dr jimmy in e end too..
wart a waste of my fare...
went all the way to tanjong pagar and got transported back home by my father..

not first time hit by the fainting spells..
had my first time when i was on my way to work at bugis..
you know boarding a train at je u'll always end up with no seat.. so i had to stand..
its always after redhill station then i'll start to feel uncomfortable, queeasy, then start to break out in cold sweat..
that time i had to ask a lady for her seat so that i wun collapse rite where i was standing..
phew~the lady was kind enuff and offered me axe oil.. prob saw my pale face and all..

todae lucky i manage to tahan till i reach tanjong pagar..
but i din get better so had to call for help!~
help papa!!!

haiya better get to sleep early todae..
i think my body's telling me to back off and start treating it nicely..
yep..
