Sea Sports Camp was fun!
it went better than i expected.

my job scope during the camp was pretty easy. i juz had to follow the campers down to the sailing side at RSYC (Republic of Singapore Yacht Club) over at West Coast Park, sit there and stone and wait for them to finish sailing, then bring them back to East Coast for 3 days. haha.

and luckily for eva and me, we didnt have to stone long coz we got to go out in the safety boat and get drive around by the sailing pple. i even got to drive the boat!!! so it wasnt boring for us at all. then the last day, when i was quite zombified by not enough sleep, we got to try sailing FOR FREE. thanks to the so friendly NUS sailing pple and their patience. MUAHA. i was lucky to get to sail both the topper and laser boat and i was out at sea longer than the campers. HAHAHA. oops.

orh anyway, i did capsize. not due to my incapability. but the sailing guy on board with me. HAHAHA. he had a reputation of either sailing back the last or capsizing with his camper. HAHA. sorrry ah ming!!! quite scary lah at first but then the 2nd time when i cap with the laser it was pretty all rite. i even got to learn turning back the laser. everything for freeeeeeeeee!!!!
muaha. what an experience. okay, all the while i was quite scared. =

and hey! i brought sunblock with me on the last day but i didnt slab them on. now i've a roasted tan, like how tanned i was back in JC after a month of netball training. it was scorching when i was out at sea. it wasnt before my turn to sail coz i saw dark clouds. so i didnt bother. wth/

the 2nd day was quite interesting for me coz b4 going to the sailing side, me and eva had to follow fiona and the campers to canoeing side at kallang. at first it was pretty boring. the 3 of us dozed off on the benches. but then, some dragon boaters came along. think they're probably from NTU. hahaha. not to say, we 3 became wide awake and i dunnoe abt eva and fiona, i was staring at their droolable physique. HAHAHAHA. so we decided to stay awake and look at their training. but they werent the only group training. the whole kallang basin was packed with pple canoeing and dragon boating. and oh ya! we saw our own girls team of dragon boaters training too. and we decided to name the NTU dragon boaters "a bar of black chocolates on the sea".

the rest of the camp went by well. got to know the ocomm pple better thru the chilling out sessions and playing silly games like "violent heart attack" and "twister". haha.

i'll probably join the camp next year as a camper. i wanna try wakeboarding! any takers?
