I was in such a bad mood just now. Its really quite a bad week for me. Maybe its really time to go pray and offer some offerings or something.

What happened.

Well, its about the modules that i'm going to read the coming semester. I'll slowly explain the situation..................

Firstly, as a year 3 life science student, we have to choose and finalise our area of concentration. Either Biomedical Science(BMS), Microbiology(MCB) or General Biology(Bio).

In my first year and second year, I chose BMS because i thought i was interested in medical related stuff and pharmacology at that time. We just had to declare but only till year 3 do we confirm our concentration.

Then after 2 years, i realised animals were my interest so i decided to switch to Bio. Under this concentration, they have modules like Comparative Animal Physiology, Ecology and Environmental Processes, Life Form and Function.. basically its very nature.

Ok, so these modules that i just mentioned, they require me to pass a module, General Physiology, which i havent. So i thought i could appeal and take all these modules concurrently.

And so i went to the Life Science Operation Centre to appeal. I went in thinking that its gonna be an easy process. Just have to state the situation, fill in forms and then they will do the rest for me.

I was damn wrong. The coordinator gave me a hard time. She simply said, "No, I have too many students doing Gen. Physio. I think you should go back to BMS."

I was stunned and lost for words momentarily.

So i explained that that i have a strong interest in Bio and will not mind bidding for Gen. Physio at a higher bid point. Then she said if i had that strong interest in Bio, i would have declared it as my concentration right from the start. Then i argued saying that its because of the modules that i took in year 1 and 2, i realised that only Bio is going to work for me.

Then she said i can go on to bid for Gen. Physio normally, but warned me that it may be at a very high bid which may result in me not being able to have enough points to bid for my other modules. Also, even if i am able to get that module, she may not open up the animal/ecology modules for me to bid. (You see, if i didnt clear a pre-requisite in the first place, i cannot place bids for the modules that require that pre-req. Therefore, i have to bypass the bidding system to get the modules.)

So now, I am going to bid for Gen. Physio and i'll see how it goes. Of coz now i have to plan another timetable with modules from BMS, just in case they dont grant me my appeal. Been looking thru the modules from BMS and irritatingly, they dont interest me anymore. I dont know how i'm gonna survive my last semester. This suck.

Anyway, why i'm this situation is partly my fault too. I should have planned from the start and look through all the modules and check out their pre-requisites. SIIGGHH. What to do now.

Hello fat ankle.
Everything happened so fast yesterday. Tripped over Chris' leg, and then i was on the ground wincing in pain. haha ya lah, injured my ankle yesterday during netball. Bleah. I hate getting injured not coz of the pain but the trouble bathing. Shucks. Second time on my left ankle, i think. Or did i lost count? haha. This one's probably the worse i've ever got.

Yesterday before training my ankle was hurting a little already coz i helped grace carried that freaking heavy milo stand thingy up to the clubroom in oversize slippers and we were running up the stairs. Then ah ber said something about my ankle getting worse and i dont have to go to the work. Well, ah ber, thanks! hahaha. This one still not as accurate coz my ankle was already slightly injured.

The most accurate of all was from a friend who i didnt sms much but we contacted each other lately. Out of the blue, this friend sms me way before i was off work, "Dont get injured later at netball hor haha."

Visiting the sensei later. Blardy gonna be pain man.

SHUCKS. now i dunnoe whether i can go back to work. I left 2 days only! 3 days never work means ~$204 gone!

Zoo trip next entry....
