Today, or rather yesterday (13/4/2007) was my last day of school. My last lecture for the whole 15 years of education. No more lectures, tutorials, lab sessions, no more wearing of lab coat, no more smelly agar plates, no more Gram staining, no more listening to China Chinese talking to themselves, no more printing of notes, no more using of pipettes, no more scaring of oneself from using ethylene bromide (is that what it is called? i cant rmb!), no more writing reports, no more reading through boring journals, no more no more no more!

But of coz there's still the exams. So there's more of the Science Library, Science Canteen and the -_- food, more mugging, more sleeping, more pulling of hair, more panda eyes, more more more.

"Put your fingertips together for more more more! (2x) Put your fingertips together fingertips together fingertips together for more more more!" Haha, its from my nephew's DVD - Baby Signing Time! I can memorise like the songs and signs liao loh.

My last Marine Biology lecture started with the MCQ CA which was rather tricky but typical University-type of MCQs lah. HAHA. Gets you confused and all. BLEAH. And the funny thing was after everybody handed their papers, a few of us started laughing out loud coz we got stunned by the paper abit. HAHAHA. typical lah typical. no worries one. HAHAHA.

PTodd brought in some equipments that are used for doing marine research. he even brought in the dive gears with a full tank! but i was too lazy to try it on. looks darn heavy lah. i want to learn diving leh but after knowing you get nitrogen dissolving into your blood at high pressures (which is not a good thing) and all those illnesses you get if you dont dive properly, i quite feel like backing out. but i will convince myself one day to go learn lah. cannot waste my life worrying about things. HAHAHA. anyways, was quite interesting, those equipments. Some of them were totally ingenious lah. tsktsktsk. i was actually thinking it IS a good thing after all that i am not going into research. HAHA.

PTodd also gave us his comments on our presentation. My grade was unexpected but relieving. WHEEW~

Then, we had the final showdown between "Flish" and "Barracuda". I was in "Barracuda" by the way - the winner at the end! PTodd always have us fighting against each other with those "who-raises-their-hands-first-gets-to-answer" type of quizzes. So the winner team got a little guidebook to Underwater World's Marine Life.

My last lesson ended in a rather dready note. Coz PTodd showed us the past sem paper and got the whole class worried (Hopefully the whole class is worried of coz!). Ya that's why i am going to start reading and collecting national geographics and the likes to bring into the examination hall. BLEAH.

I was feeling quite sad after the lecture. Coz it kind of like ended normally, you know, like no photo-taking, no nothing leh. I took the module alone so didnt have my good frens with me to do all these silly things. But i made 3 friends though. And i went with 2 of them to have a really good lunch at Holland Village. We had set lunches at Fosters -an Old English Rose Restaurant. Jiahui and Joyce ordered beef steak which was i think the best i had so far! Like even those from Aussie also fail liao loh. Jiahui ordered well-done which came out tender and juicy still! WOW ok. Then we chatted, from our modules, to school, to people, to Mahjong, to Bridge, to grad trips, to our families, to quite alot of things, which was really great coz it was my first time having lunch with them! They were really chatty and totally nice pple. Which made me even more sad coz i wont be seeing them till the exams and then after that i dont think we'll have any contacts anymore. So wasted lah can. But they have definitely made footprints in my life.

Quite emotional lah these days. Like i really dont want to graduate and leave school to find work. So ma huan can. My most enjoyable school lives were in JC and Uni. Best Best Best! I am starting to miss everything already. So scared i will burst out crying in front of everybody when i receive the scroll. HAHAHA. abit kua zhang but i am depressed lahhh! But good thing though, coz i no longer have to be stepped on by those smelly muggers and smartie pants! no longer have them stepping on my head!!! they can start to find new stepping stones among themselves. hahaha.

Maybe there's something about working life that scares me so much i have to get depressed over my graduation. HAHAHA.

6 resumes sent out and not a single interview. What a start! Hohohohohohoooo

Hmmm, i can still remember my first day of school at NUS! My first lab - organic chemistry! i was so scared i was shivering inside. HAHAHAHA. And speaking of organic chemistry hor, i think this module cost me my 4th year in NUS. Seriously. Lucky that prof jumped ship to NTU or else i would have have.. have.. have... ARRRRRRHHHHHH!!!
