Graduate Pong is here to blog about her last day of examinations in NUS.

And so I was walking real fast over to my examination venue, heart pounding with shallowed breaths, I managed to arrive 5 minutes before the start. Not even waiting for my heart to slow down and my brain to get enough oxygen, PTodd started the paper. I took a look and saw immediately a "Compare and Contrast the families of whales in the Suborder Mysticeti" question. Pretty straight forward, at first glance at least. I immediately drew out my "Marine Mammals" notes and opened the textbook to the chapter and began frantically finding for the answers. But then I think my brain was lagging and I had a mind block for about 10 minutes. I kept flipping the pages, but couldnt find the answers. The words were all swimming around and my eyes were really lazy to properly read them. Luckily it was a open-booked exam or else I think I would have screwed up my favourite module. After like 10 minutes of mind-block and flipping, I decided to attempt the other question in the list. Whew, I finally managed to put my first word down on to the paper.

So the war began, a war against time and the cramp developing on my right hand. I managed to attempt all questions but the last one I only answered a few points in point form and thats it.. THE END arrived. So when PTodd said pens down, I gave a huge sigh of relief and felt immediately, very very very burnt out.

While making my way out of the lab, which was my plant lab last semester...PLANT LAB....hahaha. It was a torture, having to measure the area, length etcetc of every leaf on the maize seedlings. But it was worth it. =) That lab was also my Animal Physio Lab, where we had to dissect frogs, lungfish and performed tests on the liver of a baby shark. I am sure going to miss those days. As I was saying, I was making my way out and PTodd stopped me to ask if I studied the right stuffs. I paused for a while, thinking back, though it was like 5 minutes ago! HAHA. I replied, "hmm abit here and there i guess, didnt really spot exact questions.." then with a "Good Luck", PTodd waved goodbye to me. Then I thought, it would have been nice to work with him for my Honours project. Yes, I dont want to leave schooool!!!

It was nice ending with my favourite module. Oh and it was also nice to meet up with har and ZL and Caiping for lunch before my paper. It was just like YEAR 1 SEM 1 first day of schooool!!! =''')

Oh I kind of posted a half-blogged entry and decided to complete it today. Realised there were lots of errors too so for those who have read the entry before this completed one, here is the edited version. hurhurhur.

You know I still have this trickle of adrenaline in me that kept telling my brain to remind me to faster finish my meals so that I can return to my revision. !!?!??!?! The YOG syndrome i call it. You Officially Graduated syndrome.

Bumming ard these days. I just had a bout of mild food poisoning. Puked and diarrheaed. Then was feeling all weak and queasy. I skipped my interview for a post of Asst. Manager at People's Association Youth Movement just because of this!!! ARGH wasted leh. But nvm lah, I'm not a very community kind of person anyways. hehehe.
